Our Most Amazing Wedding Party
Best Man:
Josh Trotter, Friend of the Groom
He says... Since 1992, a true and faithful friend. Rebuilding bicycles,
cars, and computers, Josh has been with me through everything from 8th grade
to the present. 13 years! This will be our third wedding together. They just
keep getting better! :-)
Groomsmen:
Sean Lento, Friend of the Groom
He says... Former roommate and the guy who led me to the place where I
would meet my bride! This aspiring writer and I have grown a lot together. I
wish I biked as much as he does! Stick around a bit longer, Sean, and we'll
do Ragbrai together!
Jason Heck, Friend of the Groom
He says... A college man, a fellow computer programmer and an all
around great guy! Jason was the bass player in my short lived band and I
played with him for years in the church music group. Another close and
faithful friend. I'm so blessed!
Christopher Duhn, Brother of the Bride
She says... You're going to be a Daddy! Who knew I'd be an aunt to the
most beautiful niece or nephew and a wife to the most amazing husband almost
within the same month?! Thanks for your friendship, advice, and relentless
big-brother teasing!
He says... We've had so little time to hang out, but already I feel
like you are my brother and friend. Thank you!
Jason Sherman, Brother of the Groom
He says... How awesome it is that I get to have my little brother
stand up with my at my wedding! This guy is a great little bro, only wish I
could hang out with him more. He's way better than me at video games though,
AND at baseball and swimming. Keep up the good work little bro!
Matron of Honor:
Audrey Pearson (Audrey Bell as of 6/5/2004), Friend of the Bride
She says... Aud, I never thought I'd be getting married a month after
you! So much for a 3-peat medal run at the Iowa Games. It's all good, we
took a year off to get married! I'm so happy we get to share this part of
our lives together... we've shared so much already since 6th grade... might
as well continue 'til we're old and gray! Thanks for being an amazing friend
and for all of the memories!
Maid of Honor:
Julie Simon, Friend of the Bride
She says... Jules, where do I begin? You're one of a kind! We've
shared so many memories together (who else can say that she's been to Croatia
and Bosnia with her maid of honor?), and I cherish and appreciate each one.
Despite the spider incident, you're one of my fav roomies (with Katia)!
Thanks for being you and for being a true friend! Press on in your journey,
and I hope to visit you someday once the Lord settles you overseas (how does
Europe sound?).
Bridesmaids:
Kate Peschke, Friend of the Bride
She says... Katia, (my other fav roomie) we've come a long way girl!
Remember when we used to sit in our room at good ol EU and dream about having
boyfriends... wondering if the Lord really knew our desires? Now, we're both
getting married! He's always in control... silly us! I'll never forget your
whaling laugh, longing to call me Eleanor, and all of our other endless
memories! I'm so happy we get to share this part of our lives together.
Thanks for all of the laughs and for your infinite friendship during the good
times and the bad!
Hilah Owen, Sister of the Groom
He says... Hilah, you've always loved to tell about how you took care
of me when we were little. I still maintain that I could hold my own. Who ever
needed his little sister to take care of him!?!? Well, I've grown up, and the
Lord has seen fit to find somebody else to take care of me. Your too busy
anyway, taking care of that Owen guy. :) Thanks for approving of this
Stephanie girl! I love you!
Abby Sherman, Sister of the Groom
He says... Abby, I'm so excited that you can be part of this happy
occasion! What an incredible year for you, graduating from high school,
preparing for college, and being in my wedding! We've always been close, how
could I not relate well to the sibling who shares my musical tastes, my
interest in other cultures, and my educational interests to boot! Never stop
singing! :)
