Time capsule backup problem happens when the disk is full. Follow this thread as they talk about is.
http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/942005082731/m/370002065931?r=782005065931#782005065931

Listed on here is an updated netatalk for ubuntu with a patch to make it work. I have not filled my drive yet to see what happens with this patch but I am hoping that it will work.

They say that with 10.5.6 there will have to be new patch. I think that will be posted here on this thread as well

For timemachine backups, you may want to look at my work here:

http://code.google.com/p/backmyfruitup/wiki/SetupGuide

I've got an automator action on the download page that makes setting up the sparse bundle trivial.

Jon, thanks for the link. I'm slow to get started, but it looks like something that could be a good starting point. Thanks!

I've been using Photon for iPhoto and it sorta does this...though it doesn't incorporate WP galleries yet. The developer says its on hold for the moment, but its GPL'd so it may be a good starting point for you.

Farhad,

See my latest post for a better way to list services: http://holyarmy.org/benjamin/2008/11/bonjour-avahi-addendum/

But regarding SSH showing up, it doesn't in Finder's Bonjour view, but I was able to see it using the command-line program dns-sd in Terminal.

$ dns-sd -L myserver _ssh

Hope that helps!
